U-Boat’s iconic design first introduced in 1942 by Ilvo Fontana,
Italo Fontana’s grandfather. The Classico was originally designed
for the Italian Navy who required a large watch with high-water
resistance, legibility. A functional watch, is now considered
an iconic bold design worn by celebrities and athletes around
the world.

Swiss automatic mechanical, personalized to U-BOAT specifications
for stem to be positioned at9 o’clock.
Skeletonized rotor as by U-BOAT specifications.

Three superimposed layers, black with visible ruby.
Hands, numbers & markers treated with super-luminova beige.

High quality sapphire with anti-reflective treatment.

laser cut strap handmade from hand-
finished calf leather and processed according to traditional
artisan techniques to give the strap a naturally distressed
look and feel, brown color.
